What are office lenses?
Office lenses, also known as occupational or computer lenses, are designed to provide two distinct fields of vision within one lens—perfectly tailored for work and reading environments.
These lenses enable you to comfortably focus on:
Mid-range distances (such as viewing a computer screen)
Near-range distances (like reading a book or documents)
Office lenses are optimized for distances up to approximately five feet, making them ideal for office or home use.
Your eye doctor will typically specify whether you need standard progressive lenses or office lenses and provide the necessary ADD values on your prescription. When ordering, you can enter these values in our progressive lenses section or upload your prescription via our Upload Page.
Important: Office lenses are not for distance. Driving with office lenses is not recommended.
